Almighty God, You are holy and true. You do not change like shifting shadows. We bless You, O Lord, for You are perfect forever. You are trustworthy. No lie can ever be on Your lips. Praise Your holy Name!

Psalm 42:1-5 (NKJV)


As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?
My tears have been my food day and night,
While they continually say to me,
“Where is your God?”


When I remember these things,
I pour out my soul within me.
For I used to go with the multitude;
I went with them to the house of God,
With the voice of joy and praise,
With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.


Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
For the help of His countenance.

Worship through Prayer

  1. Lord, You alone are all-knowing. I rest assured that You who love me know all things. My life is safe and secured in You despite the many unknown factors that affect my life.

  2. Lord, protect me from any deceiver who might plan evil against me. Give me wisdom to discern the truth and strength to respond with grace and goodness.

  3. Lord, You are my lot and my portion. Whatever that might be taken away from me through lies or deceptions, I pray that I would still turn to You with thanksgiving. You are the Giver of good gifts. I need not grab or steal from anyone to gain riches in this world. Let me act with integrity and truth always for Your glory.

  4. Let my life testimony be marked by truth and integrity. Let no deception be part of me. For Your Name's sake, remove any falsehood in my life. Empower me with Your Holy Spirit to live in truth and grace.
