Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth.
Prayer
We will boast of Your Name, O Lord Most High. There is none like You. All glory and praises belong to You and You alone. WORDS & MUSIC: Alfred H. Ackley
[Verse 1]
I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today
I know that He is living, whatever men may say
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer
And just the time I need Him, He’s always near
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life’s narrow way
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart
You ask me how I know He lives
He lives within my heart
[Verse 2]
In all the world around me I see His loving care
And tho’ my heart grows weary, I never will despair
I know that He is leading thro’ all the stormy blast
The day of His appearing will come at last
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life’s narrow way
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart
You ask me how I know He lives
He lives within my heart
[Verse 3]
Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian, lift up your voice and sing
Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King
The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find
None other is so loving, so good and kind
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life’s narrow way
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart
You ask me how I know He lives
He lives within my heart

[Verse 1]
I must tell Jesus all of my trials
I cannot bear these burdens alone
In my distress He kindly will help me
He ever loves and cares for His own
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus
I cannot bear my burdens alone
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone
[Verse 2]
I must tell Jesus all of my troubles
He is a kind, compassionate Friend
If I but ask Him, He will deliver
Make of my troubles quickly an end
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus
I cannot bear my burdens alone
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone
[Verse 3]
O how the world to evil allures me
O how my heart is tempted to sin
I must tell Jesus, and He will help me
Over the world the vict’ry to win
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus
I cannot bear my burdens alone
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone

[Verse 1]
Son of God, shaper of the stars
You alone, the dweller of my heart
Mighty King, how beautiful You are
How beautiful
[Verse 2]
Son of God, the Father’s gift to us
You alone were broken on the altar of love
Precious Lamb, our freedom’s in Your blood
It’s in Your blood
[Chorus]
Jesus, O Holy One
I sing to You forgiven
Savior, I’m overcome
With Your great love for me
[Verse 3]
Son of God, strength beyond compare
You alone, the darkness cannot bear
Lord of love, Your kindness draws me near
It draws me
[Verse 4]
Son of God, prophecy of old
You alone, Redeemer of my soul
Come again and lead Your people home
Come lead us home
[Chorus]
Jesus, O Holy One
I sing to You, forgiven
Savior, I’m overcome
With Your great love for me
[Bridge]
You are worthy
You are worthy
You are worthy of all my praise
You are beautiful
You are beautiful
So I’ll lift up my hands and sing
You are worthy
You are worthy
You are worthy of all my praise
You are beautiful
You are beautiful
So I’ll lift up my hands and sing
[Chorus]
Jesus, O Holy One
I sing to You, forgiven
Savior, I’m overcome
With Your great love for me
Scripture Reading
Read aloud (together if applicable).
R-47 THE LORD’S SERVICE (事奉真神)
Romans 12:1-16 (NKJV)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given[d] to hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
Sermon
Song of Response
TEXT & MUSIC: Will L. Thompson
[Verse 1]
Jesus is all the world to me
My Life, my Joy, my All
He is my Strength from day to day
Without Him I would fall
When I am sad, to Him I go
No other one can cheer me so
When I am sad, He makes me glad
He’s my Friend
[Verse 2]
Jesus is all the world to me
My Friend in trials sore
I go to Him for blessings, and
He gives them o’er and o’er
He sends the sunshine and the rain
He sends the harvest’s golden grain
Sunshine and rain, harvest of grain
He’s my Friend
[Verse 3]
Jesus is all the world to me
And true to Him I’ll be
O how could I this Friend deny
When He’s so true to me
Following Him, I know I’m right
He watches o’er me day and night
Following Him, by day and night
He’s my Friend
[Verse 4]
Jesus is all the world to me
I want no better friend
I trust Him now, I’ll trust Him when
Life’s fleeting days shall end
Beautiful life with such a Friend
Beautiful life that has no end
Eternal life, eternal joy
He’s my Friend
Worship through Prayer
Help me to be gentle and kind towards difficult people around me. Remind me of Your mercy and patience towards me. Let me deal with others in the same way so that none may stumble because of me. Instead, let them see You in me and find Your mercy and grace as well.
Remind me of godly people in my life whom You want me to bless. May I be Your instrument of grace and encouragement to the faithful ones who quietly love and serve You.
Life on earth is short yet hard. Give me strength to live for You and finish well. Help me use every opportunity to do good to all, especially to my spiritual family. May this Christ-like love in action bring about much praise and thanksgiving to You, O Lord.
Self-Reflection & Discussion
In your spheres of influence at home, in school, at work, or even in church, how are you demonstrating that your choices are aligned to who you are in Jesus Christ?
To show grace to those who have sinned, help others spiritually, build up heavenly wealth, and find glory in the cross of Christ is your choice to make. What are ways you can intentionally live out these choices?
