Call to Worship
Have someone read aloud:
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Prayer
Almighty God, we praise You because You are a God who is trustworthy and good. When our hearts are discouraged by the things of this world and when we are tempted to compare, may You remind us that You are just in Your ways and You have our best interests at heart—and nothing compares to Your desire and will. Amen.

Scripture Reading
Read aloud (together if applicable).
R-29 TRUST IN THE LORD 信靠真神
Psalm 37:1-11 (NKJV)
Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb.
Trust in the LORD, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
Do not fret—it only causes harm.
For evildoers shall be cut off;
But those who wait on the LORD,
They shall inherit the earth.
For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;
Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,
But it shall be no more.
But the meek shall inherit the earth,
And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Worship through Prayer
Lord, thank You for the reminder that true joy and satisfaction can only come from You, not in our possessions, our relationships with others, or even our jobs.
May You give me the desire to be content in what You have entrusted me instead of yearning for more, and to be humble enough to accept that You are not entitled to give me what I desire, for my desires are often vain and You alone have the right to give what You desire according to Your will.
May You enable me to always trust that Your heart is good and that Your plans for us are far greater than what we can ever imagine and better than what we have for ourselves. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
