I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope.
Prayer
Almighty God, Maker of heavens and earth, we exalt You on high. No one can compare to You—the Holy One; the great I AM. We lift Your Name on high. Why does humankind rebel against You? Only fools deny their Maker. We declare and honor You, our Creator God. We will continue to rejoice and be glad for in You alone is found our joy and salvation forevermore. Amen.

Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”
So He said to them, “When you pray, say:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us day by day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one."
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Worship Through Prayer
Lord, give me godly wisdom that I may bring glory to You. Keep me from living a life of a fool. Let my words be true and faithful. Empty words are for fools. All Your words can be trusted. Make me more like You in words and deeds each passing day.
Help me not to react impulsively to every situation that I face. Instead, let me be quick to consider to understand and pray. Give me discernment whether I should speak or not in any given situation to maintain peace and promote truth.
Give me humility and sensibility to learn from my mistakes. Let me be thankful for people that you put in my life who speaks truth to me in every way. There may be kind and not-so-kind rebukes. Help me to listen and consider carefully without becoming sinfully angry at them. May I grow wiser and more mature as I learn. Thank You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
