For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.
Prayer
O Holy God, You are righteous in all Your ways. Good and upright are You. You are wonderful. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne. We delight in Your teaching, for You guide us in the way we should go. Let Your glory shine brightly in and through us. All praises be unto You both now and forevermore. Amen.

R-16 THE SPIRIT OUR HELPER 聖靈是阮的幫助
Galatians 5:16, 22-25; Romans 8:14-16, 26-27 (NKJV)
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Worship Through Prayer
Father, let me live in Your holiness. There are so many temptations around me. Yet, give me a heart that loves You above all. Let me desire to please You always. When my desire comes in conflict with Your will, give me faith and peace to accept Your will. Remind me that You love me and will always be good to me.
Lord, do not stop until my stubborn self-will yields to You. Only in You is righteousness found. Let me overcome this sinful nature in me. I want to walk uprightly. Give me strength to live faithfully in the power of Your Holy Spirit. I surrender fully to You. Do as You see fit in my life. My life belongs to You.
Lord, I confess my sin. You know my weakness. I am lacking self-control in certain matters that I still allow to be part of my life. Help me to be able to forego what I love in order to hold tightly to You. Forgive me for my stubborn self-will. I need Your help. Save me from the grip of sin where I am easily entangled. I am weak to overcome. Savior, deliver me from evil.
