Scripture Reading

Read aloud (together if applicable).

R-12 GOD’S CREATION 上帝的創造

Genesis 1:1-5; Psalm 104:24; Isaiah 40:18, 22; Psalm 19:1-3; 103:22 (NKJV)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

O LORD, how manifold are Your works!

In wisdom You have made them all.

The earth is full of Your possessions—

To whom then will you liken God?

Or what likeness will you compare to Him?

It is He who sits above the circle of the earth…

Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,

And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

The heavens declare the glory of God;

And the firmament shows His handiwork.

Day unto day utters speech,

And night unto night reveals knowledge.

There is no speech nor language

Where their voice is not heard.

Bless the LORD, all His works,

In all places of His dominion.

Bless the LORD, O my soul!

Worship Through Prayer

  1. Help me acknowledge that You are the Creator and Sustainer of life and all things. Everything operates according to Your design and sovereign will. You alone know everything perfectly. May I set my heart to listen to Your Word in order to understand life.

  2. Lord God, You have created all things good. Your creation reveals Your perfect attributes. You are good. Hence, all Your creation was good and intended for good. Many have corrupted Your creation, yet You continue to make all things right. May I comprehend how good and how great You are as my Maker.

  3. Your plan for mankind has always been good. Help me to trust and follow You by faith in order to know and experience Your perfect will for my life. You alone know what's best for me. Help me overcome my unbelief and acknowledge that You love me and that everything You do is good for me.
