DAY 1 (April 8, WED): ARRIVAL + Amman
Start of Bible Study Tour • Amman
Depart the Philippines in the morning and arrive in Amman, Jordan in the late afternoon. Clear immigration and customs and head to the hotel for dinner, a short orientation meeting, and a good rest to prepare physically and spiritually for the start of a memorable Bible Study Tour.

DAY 2 (April 9, THU): Amman + Jordan
Start of Bible Study Tour • Amman • Citadel • Mt. Nebo • Madaba • Mujib Valley Overview
We begin the day exploring the ancient capital of the Ammonites and the modern capital of the kingdom of Jordan. Visit the Citadel and see the Roman Temple of Hercules. We then drive to Madaba, the “Mosaic City'' and hometown of Ruth the Moabite. View of Moab from the eastern shores of the Dead Sea. Then we climb Mount Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land, and on it he was buried by God. Time permitting, we will use the Kings highway to see the magnificent Mujib Valley, called “the Grand Canyon of the Middle East,” with the Arnon River flowing through it.

DAY 3 (April 10, FRI): Jericho
Allenby Border Crossing • Jordan River Crossing • Jericho (Mount of Temptation, Sycamore Tree, Elisha’s Spring) • Beit-Shean • Tiberias
Crossover to Israel using the Allenby crossing, we drive to Jericho, near the Dead Sea. We climb the archaeological site to view the plains of Jericho where the Israelites entered the Promised Land. View the site of Jesus' Temptation. Pass by the traditional sites of Zacchaeus' sycamore tree and Elisha's spring. Follow the River Jordan north to Israel’s largest archaeological site of Beth-Shan (time-permitting), where the Philistines fought King Saul. Drive along the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, to the city of Tiberias.

DAY 4 (April 11, SAT): Sea of Galilee
Galilee Boat Ride • Tabgha • Mount of Beatitudes • Capernaum • Horns of Hittim • Mt. Arbel (panoramic view)
Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Go to Capernaum where you will see an ancient synagogue and Peter's house. By the shore, you will visit Tabgha with the ancient mosaic of the Loaves and Fishes. There Jesus appeared to the disciples after His resurrection (John 21). Enjoy "Peter’s Fish" by Sea of Galilee. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount is remembered. In this region, Jesus spent much of his ministry on earth. Pass by the horns of Hattim, where Saladin defeated the crusaders. Go to the top of Mount Arbel for a magnificent mountaintop panoramic view of the entire Sea of Galilee, and there view the Bible sites of Jesus’ public ministry.

DAY 5 (April 12, SUN): Northern Galilee
Tel Dan • Hazor • Caesarea Philippi (Banias) • Golan Heights • Mt. Bental • Mt. Hermon • Baptism/Rededication at the Jordan River (Yardenit)
Drive up north to the northernmost city of Israel in the Old Testament—and see the ruins of Dan. View the high place where wicked King Jeroboam set up a golden calf, and drive by Hazor, the ancient capital of the Canaanites. Drive to Caesarea Philippi (Banias), near where the Jordan River starts, where Peter acknowledged Jesus as “the Christ.” Visit Mt. Bental which overlooks the Golan and the valley where one of the largest tank battles in history took place in 1973 where 160 Israeli tanks withstood an onslaught of 2,500 Syrian Tanks and Artillery Pieces. Ride the Sky-life on the slopes of Mt. Hermon (time-permitting). Drive to Degania for Baptism-Rededication in the Jordan River.

DAY 6 (April 13, MON): Nazareth + Jezreel Valley
Church of the Annunciation • Nazareth Village • Cana
Enter Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus, and see the largest church in Israel: Church of the Annunciation. Visit the Nazareth Village and see how Jesus lived in Nazareth for 30 “silent years” in a first-century recreation of village life in Nazareth. Time-permitting, drive by Cana where Jesus performed His first miracle.

DAY 7 (April 14, TUE): Sea Coast
Megiddo • Solomon’s Tunnel • Jezreel Valley • Mt. Carmel • Cana • Caesarea Maritima • Joppa • Tel Aviv • Emmaus
Drive to Tel Megiddo, the future site of the Battle of Armageddon and have an overview of the Jezreel Valley. Drive up beautiful Mt. Carmel for a spectacular view of Israel’s northern region. Visit Mukhraka, where Elijah challenged the 450 prophets of Baal. Drive to Caesarea, the capital of Rome in Palestine. See Roman and Crusader remains (i.e. aqueduct) and the harbor from where Paul was taken prisoner to Rome. Visit Joppa, from where Jonah sailed for Tarshish. Nearby is Tel Aviv, the business center of Israel. Time-permitting visit the village of Emmaus, where Jesus walked with two disciples. Drive to Jerusalem.

DAY 8 (April 15, WED): Mount of Olives + Jerusalem (Old City)
Mount of Olives • Church of the Ascension • Church of Pater Noster • Palm Sunday Road • Dominus Flevit • Gethsemane • Church of All Nations • Dung Gate • Ancient Temple (Southern) Steps • Western Wall Underground Tunnel • Temple Institute
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a wonderful panoramic view of Jerusalem. See the Ascension Chapel, the Pater Noster Church (Lord's Prayer), walk down the “Palm Sunday'' road, see Dominus Flevit. Pray inside the Garden of Gethsemane, with its ancient olive trees and the serene Church of All Nations. Enter through the Dung Gate and visit the archaeological digs beside the western wall, and walk up the ancient Temple (Southern) Steps. We will take the Western Wall Tunnel Tour, this is the newly excavated 1,000-feet long underground portion of the Western Wall. Walk the streets of Old Jerusalem of King Herod’s time. See Temple’s largest building stone (500 tons)! Then we visit the Temple Institute to learn more about the Temple and its significance to the Jewish Nation.

DAY 9 (April 16, THU): Jerusalem (Old City) + City of David
Temple Mount • Western Wall • Cardo • Golden Menorah • Hezekiah’s Tunnel • Mt. Zion • Gallicantu (Caiaphas’ House) • Upper Room • David’s Tomb
Enter the Old City of Jerusalem and visit the Temple Area with the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Visit the Western “Wailing” Wall and pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We then explore the Ancient City of David walking in King Hezekiah’s underground tunnel ending at the Pool of Siloam. This engineering feat of 1,500-foot-long-tunnel was cut under the bedrock of the City of David in 701 BC. Drive along the Kidron Valley to the palace of the High Priest Caiaphas, where Peter denied his Lord. On Mount Zion, visit an Upper Room, and see the tomb of David.

DAY 10 (April 17 , FRI): Jerusalem (New City) + Bethlehem
Yad Vashem (Holocaust Memorial) • Israel Museum (Jerusalem Model) • Shrine of Book Museum (Dead Sea Scrolls) • Knesset Building • Bethlehem • Church of the Nativity • Shepherds Field • Herodium
Begin the day exploring the “new city” portion of Jerusalem and visit Yad Vashem, the moving and powerful WWII Holocaust Memorial. Visit the Israel Museum to tour the model of Jerusalem (during Christ’s time). Visit the shrine of the Book Museum which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. See the Knesset parliament building. We then enter into Bethlehem and see the Church of the Nativity, the oldest church in the Holy Land. Visit the cave-stable of Jesus' birth, and the Shepherds Fields. We will also see the Herodium, the fortress and grave of Herod the Great, who slew the Bethlehem infants.

DAY 11 (April 18, SAT): Jerusalem (Old City) + Bethlehem
Pool of Bethesda • St. Anne’s Church • Via Dolorosa • Church of the Holy Sepulchre • Garden Tomb • Jaffa Gate Shopping
Head to the Pool of Bethesda, where tradition says an angel ruffled the water, and St. Anne's Church, traditional birthplace of Jesus' mother with its beautiful acoustics. Take the Via Dolorosa Road, from Pilate's judgment hall to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Have Communion at the Garden Tomb, where Christians remember Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. Time-permitting, shop at the Jaffa Gate shopping area.

DAY 12 (April 19, SUN): Dead Sea Area
Jerusalem-Jericho Road • Qumran • Masada • Ein Gedi • Dead Sea Swim
Use the Jerusalem-Jericho road down to the Dead Sea. Visit Qumran, the site of the Essene community where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Visit Ein Gedi, where David hid from Saul. Then take a cable car up to Masada, scene of the last stand of the Jewish resistance to the Romans. Enjoy a late afternoon swim in the Dead Sea.

DAY 13 (April 20, MON): Red Sea Area
Lot’s Wife • Timna Park (Tabernacle Model & Solomon’s Copper Mines) • Eilat • Gulf of Aqaba
We head south and visit Timna Park and see the Tabernacle Model (actual-size) in the wilderness and point out Solomon’s copper mines. Nearby is the Gulf of Aqaba, the border between Israel, Jordan, and Egypt. Cross the border into Jordan and drive to the Petra area.

DAY 14 (April 21, TUE): Petra
Petra • Aaron’s Tomb • Zered River • Edom • Desert Highway
We spend the whole morning touring Petra. The stronghold city of the Nabateans, Petra was a spectacular rock-cut ancient city, with beautiful sculptures carved into rose-red rocks—one of the seven wonders of the world. This is the land of the ancient Edomites. In the afternoon on the way to Amman, we cross the River Zered and ancient borders of Moab and Edom, passing through the Biblical cities of Heshbon, Dibon, & Aroer via the Desert Highway.

DAY 15 (April 22 , WED): Jerash + DEPARTURE
Jerash • Jabbock River • Edom • Desert Highway
We explore the city of Jerash which is one of the cities of the Decapolis. It is home to one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities, which earned it the nickname "Pompeii of the Middle East". Time-permitting, we will stop at the Jabbock River where Jacob “wrestled” God. Then we head to the Amman Airport for our flight back to the Philippines in the late afternoon.
DAY 16 (April 23, THU): Philippines
Arrive in the Philippines in the late afternoon with hearts full of wonderful memories, a greater appreciation for God’s Word, a spiritual renewal, and a greater love for the Lord because we will have journeyed through Biblical lands, following in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dr. Stephen G. Tan
Bible Teacher & Trip Host
Dr. Stephen G. Tan is the Senior Pastor of Grace Christian Church of the Philippines. He graduated summa cum laude from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology and was given the J. Dwight Pentecost Award in Bible Exposition. He also has a Doctorate from the same school.
Dr. Tan has spoken at conferences and churches throughout North America, Europe, and Asia and has served as guest lecturer at several seminaries and Bible colleges. He also serves on several boards of Christian organizations and NGOs.
Pastor Stephen has led many Bible Study Tours serving as a Bible Teacher in places such as Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He was ordained into the Gospel ministry in 2005 and is a licensed minister.
Previously, Stephen worked as a management consultant for Deloitte and Touche, consistently ranked as a top analyst. He graduated cum laude from SMU in Dallas, with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. He received the “M” Award, the highest award and honor given by the university. He is happily married to his wife Cindy, and they have 3 children: Andrew, Nathan, and Janelle.

Registration and Payment
Full payment must be made by January 31, 2026. Otherwise, registration is considered canceled.
All rates and costs are estimated based on prices from the previous tour and per bus load of 40 registrants and are subject to change without prior notice. At least 40 registrants are required for this trip to push through.
Rates per person are based on twin-sharing hotel pricing. No triple room reduction. This means you need to register by “twos”. If you need a roommate, GCCP may try to assist you to find one, but there are no guarantees.
GCCP and its co-sponsor(s), with their officers and staff, act only as agents for the various companies and service providers whose services are used, and assume no responsibility nor liability for any act/omission of trip.
The GCCP planning committee reserves the right to refuse individuals from joining this Bible Study tour.
Registration is generally on a first come, first served basis. Priority is given to active members of Grace Christian Church of the Philippines.
Cancellation and Refund
Registration Deposit is nonrefundable.
Any cancellation must be initiated by the participant(s) personally or by phone. We will acknowledge your cancellation by email.
In certain cases you may be eligible to receive a full or partial refund depending upon: (1) the reason for your cancellation; (2) the number of days prior to the start of the tour that your cancellation request is received; or (3) the amount expended in preparation for your participation to the tour.

120 days - 100% deposit amount + 10% balance
90 days - 100% deposit amount + 20% balance
60 days - 100% deposit amount + 30% balance
30 days - 100% deposit amount + 40% balance
15 days - 100% deposit amount + 50% balance
Less than 15 days - No Refund
GCCP and its co-sponsor(s) with their officers and staff are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have personally incurred as a result of the purchase of your tour, such as visas, medical check-ups, nonrefundable flights, etc.

Who can join the trip?
Anyone who wishes to go on a Bible study trip to the Holy Lands can join, but please note that priority is given to members and regular attendees of GCCP.
Is the tour senior or child-friendly?
We will be walking at least 12,000-14,000 steps daily, and so it is not advisable for children below 13 years old. Seniors need to be physically fit and able walk unassisted.
How do I register?
Fill out and submit the Online Registration Form. You will be asked to upload a digital copy of you passport data page and recent color photo.
Pay the Registration Deposit via deposit or bank transfer.
Email proof of payment to biblestudytours@gccp.org.ph
Can I pay in cash? / Can I register and pay at the church?
GCCP prefers paperless and cashless transactions. However, you can also submit hardcopies of your documents and pay in cash at the church office. Office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Tue-Sat) or 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Sun).

What happens if I deposit my payment but forget to submit my registration form?
Your registration is only confirmed once both your registration form and payment are received. If you’ve already paid but haven’t submitted the form, your slot isn’t secured just yet, so please make sure to complete both steps.
Do I need to purchase my own air tickets and travel insurance?
Airfare and travel insurance are offered as optional add-ons in this tour and will be purchased through Highlight Tours at a GCCP discounted group rate. You can include them in your total tour cost when you register. Please note that GCCP policy requires travel insurance for participants of church offsite events and activities.
Do I need to pay for Israel and Jordan visa fees?
If you have a Philippines, US, or Canada passport, you do not need to pay for Jordan and Israel visas. If you have a passport from another country, we will notify you of your visa fee amount through email.
Do I need to depart on the same flight as the group? / Can I book a different flight and meet the group at the airport?
If your home country and dates deviate from the rest of the tour, you can book your own flight and meet us at the airport in Amman, but you may have to pay some extra travel fees going to/from the hotel unless you have the same flight times with the group.
I've already paid, but I can't make it to the event anymore. Can I get a refund?
Our Terms and Conditions includes information about refunds in the event of cancellation. The initial deposit is non-refundable. Please refer to Registration Terms and Conditions for details.
