About the Message
Dr. David Dean | Luke 16:19-31
In Luke 16:19-31, Jesus tells a story that unsettles our assumptions. A rich man who seemed blessed in life ends up in torment; a poor beggar who suffered ends up in comfort. The contrast forces us to ask hard questions about what really matters and what lasts.
This message walks through the reality of eternity, the limits of miracles, and the urgency of responding to God’s Word while we still can. It is sobering, but it is also clarifying. It reminds us that comfort is not the same as security, and that knowing Scripture is not the same as trusting Christ.
