Call to Worship

Have someone read aloud:

Romans 12:17-21 (NKJV)

Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Prayer

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. You are the righteous Avenger. No evil will prevail. All things will be made right at Your appointed time. Justice will be served. Your righteousness will fill the heavens and earth forevermore. Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus, and reign over us.

R-11 A HYMN OF ETERNITY 人生短暫

Psalm 90:1-6; 9b; 12-17 (NKJV)

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

You turn man to destruction,
And say, “Return, O children of men.”
For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it is past,
And like a watch in the night.
You carry them away like a flood;
They are like a sleep.
In the morning they are like grass which grows up:
In the morning it flourishes and grows up;
In the evening it is cut down and withers.

We finish our years like a sigh.

So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Return, O LORD!
How long?
And have compassion on Your servants.
Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy,
That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,
The years in which we have seen evil.
Let Your work appear to Your servants,
And Your glory to their children.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands.

Lyrics - Take My Life and Let it Be

Worship through Prayer

  1. Lord, help me fight battles in this life properly. Let me uphold Your Word at all times. Empower me to overcome evil with good. Give me wisdom to do Your will for Your Name's sake.

  2. Enable me to stand firm in Your truth and live my life for Your glory. When evil seems to prevail and death looms near, give me courage and strength to face the enemies with the righteousness of Christ.

  3. Help me to stand alert on the Lord's side at all times. The spiritual war is ongoing and fierce. The Adversary continues to wage war against the Lord and relentlessly trying to destroy His people. Open my spiritual eyes to recognize the attacks of the enemies. Help me to pray without ceasing until You bring full deliverance.
