Almighty God, You are the One who holds all things in the palm of Your hand. Nothing happens apart from Your will, which is always good. We worship and adore You. Worthy, worthy, worthy are You alone of the highest praise. Be exalted above all both now and forevermore. Amen.

Do not fret because of evildoers,

Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,

And wither as the green herb.

Trust in the LORD, and do good;

Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.

Delight yourself also in the LORD,

Worship Through Prayer

1. Father, I have lived my life so complacently that I am easily jolted whenever a trial comes into my life. I cower in fear and doubt. Help me to understand that the testing of my faith will come in many ways including facing challenges and temptations. Give me wisdom to understand life in light of this truth that I may stand steadfastly in You at all times.

2. Lord, purify my faith that I may see You clearly. Let the truth of Your Word be the basis of my faith. You are what You have said You are. Even history has confirmed Your Word, Your mighty works and Your presence in the world. Let me find confidence in You as I live my life. Let Your power and love be evident in my life. Fight my battles for me for Your glory. Help me live a victorious life in You.

3. Father, thank You for the life You've given me in the Lord Jesus. I want to thank You for all the experiences that I've gone through up to this day and for what will still come. Continue to let each life event bring me closer to You and strengthen my faith in You. May both good and bad times be redeemed by You to bless my life for Your glory. Thank You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
