Prayer
Almighty God, we praise You for the Living Word that constantly serves as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths. Truly, there is nothing more powerful and life-giving than Your Word that enable us to bear much fruit. May You cultivate in us a heart that loves and values Your Word above all so that You may find our lives holy and pleasing before You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
With my whole heart I have sought You;

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Worship Through Prayer
Lord, thank You for the wonder of Your Word, for how it stands the test of time and for how it purifies the soul. Help us to live and abide by it all the days of our lives and remember that everything else will wither and fade, but it is only Your Word that will stand forever. May You give us the wisdom to look to Your Word above else, because everything else that the world offers will always fall short of Your standard.
Father, I believe that Your Word which brought the heavens and the earth to existence has the same power to change and soften hearts. May You give me the proper desire for Your Word so that I may grow in my faith and love for You. Thank You because You have given us everything we need in Your Word, and help me to remember that it is more than sufficient to help me go through the challenges of life.
