Call to Worship

Have someone read aloud:

Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV)

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer

Lord God Almighty, empower us with Your Spirit to worship and adore You. Let nothing on earth and even in heaven hinder us from exalting Your Holy Name. Be magnified in the praises of Your people scattered everywhere. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Scripture Reading

Read aloud (together if applicable).

R-17 GOD’S INVITATION 上帝的呼請

Isaiah 55:1a, 2a, 3a, 6-7; 1:18; John 7:37; Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)

"Ho! Everyone who thirsts,

Come to the waters;

And you who have no money,

Come, buy and eat....

Why do you spend money for what is not bread,...

Incline your ear, and come to Me.

Hear, and your soul shall live;

And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—...

Seek the LORD while He may be found,

Call upon Him while He is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way,

And the unrighteous man his thoughts;

Let him return to the LORD,

And He will have mercy on him;

And to our God,

For He will abundantly pardon.

“Come now, and let us reason together,”

Says the LORD,

“Though your sins are like scarlet,

They shall be as white as snow;

Though they are red like crimson,

They shall be as wool.

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Worship through Prayer

  1. Thank You for the gift of salvation I have in Christ. The blessing of sweet fellowship with You, O God, is my true comfort and joy in this earthly life. Each day let me know you even more. Let my heart yearn for You until I see You face-to-face in eternity.

  2. Thank You for the gift of righteousness I have received through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus that cleansed me from all sins. Thank You for Your promise to forgive and cleanse me every time I confess my sins knowing that I am still stuck with a sinful nature.

  3. Thank You for the gift of eternal life and the privilege of having an intimate fellowship with You in Christ forever. Orient my heart towards You as my first love. When my heart grows cold for You, please draw me back to You. True joy is only found in You. I want that, Lord. I want You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
