Call to Worship
Have someone read aloud:
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (NKJV)
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Prayer
Almighty God, You are the only One who is righteous and holy. We praise You for the work of Your Son Jesus Christ on the cross who destroyed the power of sin. Thank You for the blessing of being Your child, and we pray that we become worthy vessels who will live right before You so we can glorify You in heaven. Amen.

R-42 VICTORY IN TEMPTATION 得勝試探
James 1:12-15; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Hebrews 2:18; 4:14-15; Ephesians 6:10 (NKJV)
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Worship through Prayer
Lord, I know that apart from You I cannot be righteous. May You enable me to resist the temptations of the world. Empower me through Your Spirit to live a righteous life before You by not giving in to compromise and turning away from sin. Help me to fix my gaze upon You and not upon the world.
May you enable me to live the Christian life with a victorious mindset, knowing that You have already won the battle and I am no longer bound by the bondage of sin.
May our lives be pure and blameless, so that we can present our lives without shame and be a good testimony to those around us.
