Lord God Almighty, You are the sovereign One and the true Master of all. All lives belong to You alone. We bow down and lift You on high for only You deserve all honor and praises and glory. Sanctify our offerings as living sacrifices and make us holy and pleasing to You. Bless us for Your Name's sake. Amen.

Psalm 51:1-13, 17 (NKJV)

Have mercy upon me, O God,

According to Your lovingkindness;

According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,

Blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,

And cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions,

And my sin is always before me.

Against You, You only, have I sinned,

And done this evil in Your sight—

That You may be found just when You speak,

And blameless when You judge.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,

And in sin my mother conceived me.

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,

And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;

Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me hear joy and gladness,

That the bones You have broken may rejoice.

Hide Your face from my sins,

And blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,

And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Worship Through Prayer

1. Father, please protect my heart from apathy. Let me always care about You and all matters that are important to You. When my heart is growing cold that I no longer care, please protect me from sinning against You and help me to heal and recover fully through the power of Your Holy Spirit.

2. Lord God, to abandon You is utter foolishness. Where else can I go from You? You have the eternal life. May it never be that I turn away to leave you. Let me cling on to You always. Thank You because You will never let me go. Please help me and those who have abandoned the faith to be able to return to You safely. 

3. Lord, if I sin against You and persist in my wickedness, please do not abandon me nor alienate me from You for long. Pursue me with Your loving discipline. I would rather be subjected to Your rod of discipline than be left alone in my sin and be separated from You. Save me when I fall into that state of sin for You alone are the Founder and the Completer of my faith. Amen.
