Prayer

Praise be to You, O God Most High. You alone deserve all glory and honor on earth and in heaven. How good You are; how excellent are Your ways; how marvelous are all Your works. The redemption of mankind for eternal good is found in no one else but You. Be exalted in our praises as we gather to worship You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

John 3:16, 5:24, 10:27-29; 1 John 5:11-13 (NKJV)


For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.


Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.


My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.


And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

  1. Be glorified in my life always. I pray that my life brings glory to Your Name in every way. May it be evident to people that Your favor rests upon me because I am Your child. Let me not bring shame to Your Name. But if I do, please redeem and transform the shame for good and bring glory to Yourself.

  2. Thank You, Lord, for the YES answer. My heart is grateful for Your gracious kindness. Thank You for aligning my request to Your will. Now, that You have granted it, may I continue to remember to give thanks in the way I praise You. May people around me be encouraged to praise You too.

  3. Lord, be my first love. Let nothing else take Your place. May none of Your good gifts to me become the center of idolatrous love in my heart. Protect my heart from foolish love. Let it be Yours wholly.
