Cultivating a culture of worship from a young age.

Music has always been an integral part of the worship culture at GCCP. We want to instill in our children a love for God that is expressed through the use of their voice and life to worship God.

Seraphim Choir

  Grade 7-12

   Saturdays • 4:00-6:00 PM

Cherubim Choir

  Grade 2-6

   Saturdays • 4:00-5:30 PM

Little Angels Choir

  Nursery to Grade 1

   Saturdays • 4:00-5:30 PM

MINISTRY INFORMATION

Length of Commitment

One Ministry Year, typically from August of the current year to July the next year.

 

Rehearsals

Every Saturday at 4:00 PM

 

Choral Presentations

  • Every other month at both 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM worship services (please refer to the ministry calendar)

  • Other special events as scheduled

 

Learning & Development

Music Camp (at least 2 weeks of half-day training activities, typically held in June)

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend a GCCP Worship Service (for Grades 7-12) or Junior Church (for Nursery to Grade 6) ON-SITE.

  • Attend scheduled choral presentations at the worship services (anthems both at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM) and other church events.

  • Attend scheduled rehearsals and willingly participate in activities pertaining to the development of the choir (e.g. Music Camp, etc.). Please refer to the ministry calendar.
