Psalm 86:11-12 (NKJV)

Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.

Prayer

O Lord, our God, blessed be Your glorious Name. May the whole earth be filled with Your glory. May it be full of the knowledge of You and Your Word. Your Word is Truth. We praise You for giving to us the truths to live by as Your children. Be honored in our lives both now and forevermore. Amen.

R-21 A SINNER’S CONFESSION 認罪祈禱

Psalm 51:1-13, 17 (NKJV)

Have mercy upon me, O God,

According to Your lovingkindness;

According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,

Blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,

And cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions,

And my sin is always before me.

Against You, You only, have I sinned,

And done this evil in Your sight—

That You may be found just when You speak,

And blameless when You judge.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,

And in sin my mother conceived me.

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,

And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;

Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me hear joy and gladness,

That the bones You have broken may rejoice.

Hide Your face from my sins,

And blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,

Worship Through Prayer

1. Lord, You are the God of truth. You desire that I live in truthfulness. Lying lips are an abomination to You. Help me to act faithfully in truth and righteousness. Forgive me for not upholding truth at all times in my life. I confess my sins. I have lied in many ways. Help me to stop lying and strive to be truthful in every way. 

2. Lord, deliver me from evil. I am often tempted to lie when I desire selfish gain, am pressured to conform and feel the need to cover up. I have taken this sin lightly that I lie easily and casually for fun. Give me the strength and courage to stand firm on the truth and not sin against You especially when it seems more convenient to lie. Help me not to succumb to temptation.

3. O Lord God, you have commanded me to be holy for You are holy. Search me, O God. See if there be any wickedness in me. Please cleanse me from my sins and set me aright to live for You faithfully. Help me to be true for Your Name's sake. In Jesus' name. Amen.
