It's easy to notice what's missing in our lives--the prayers that haven't been answered, the things that haven't worked out, the plans that fell through. Sometimes, we get so caught up in what we still want that we forget how far God has brought us.
In Luke 17, ten men were healed by Jesus, but only one came back to thank Him.
How often do we receive God's goodness, get caught up in life, and move on without stopping to give thanks?
Even when life doesn't go as we hoped, we still have reasons to be grateful. God has shown us mercy, done great things for us, and given us what we truly need.
