Call to Worship

Have someone read aloud:

1 Chronicles 29:11-12 (NKJV)

"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all."

Prayer

Lord God Almighty, You alone are the sovereign One above all. All nations will bow down before You and Your Son, the one true King of all. We exalt You on high and enthrone You in our praises. Great are You, Lord, and most worthy to be praised. May our worship today be acceptable to You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit as we come to worship You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

R-66 SIGNS OF THE TIMES 時代預兆

Matthew 24:3-7, 10-12, 36-39, 32-35, 42, 44 (NKJV)

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Song of Response

Worship Through Prayer

  1. Lord, the news of war between Russia and Ukraine in Eastern Europe has troubled our hearts. The sudden invasion of Russia has resulted to so much bloodshed and disruption of lives. We pray for the war to cease and for a peaceful resolution of the conflicts to be reached.

  2. Father, we pray for all the missionaries and their families in Ukraine. Give them wisdom and guidance on how to move forward. We pray for safe travel for those who have planned to leave. May You open new Gospel opportunities for them in their respective destinations.

  3. For missionaries who have decided to stay in Ukraine, empower them with Your Holy Spirit to minister to the suffering people in ways that they would see the love of Christ in and thru Your servants. We pray for gracious mercy, provision and protection for Your children. Let them shine as light in darkness and share Your blessed hope in such a time as this. Bless them, O Lord. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen.
