Hebrews 10:24-25 (NKJV)

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the loving favor You've given to us each day. We thank You for our family, friends and loved ones. Thank You for the many gifts of friendship that You've graciously given to encourage and support us in this lifelong journey of faith. Most of all, thank You for keeping us all safely in this life until we meet You face to face. Praise be to You. In Jesus' name, we come to You. Amen.

Matthew 9:35-38; John 4:35-36; Psalm 126:5-6 (NKJV)

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

Those who sow in tears

Shall reap in joy.

He who continually goes forth weeping,

Bearing seed for sowing,

Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

Bringing his sheaves with him.

Worship Through Prayer

1. Thank You for the blessed universal Church. I have such a vast community of Christian brothers and sisters everywhere I go. You have not left me alone in this faith journey. Thank you for this blessed gift. May I, as part of Your spiritual family, be a blessing to those who are in need of companion and encouragement. 

2. Lord, purify my life and my lips. Allow me to be a clean instrument to bring Your message of hope to those who need to hear it. May my words and loving actions bless the weary and hopeless. You are the Hope of all people. May my life show forth that truth and be a beacon of hope to those who need to know You. May Your light shine brightly in and through my life. 

3. Thank You for each opportunity to love and serve You in this life. May I live purposefully as a child of God and a follower of Jesus Christ. May my words and actions resound with the Gospel and truths of Your Word. May people come to know You as I live faithfully and humbly, knowing that everything is by Your grace through Christ.
