Have someone read aloud:

Psalm 19:14 (NKJV)

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

O Holy God, You are perfect in righteousness and truth. Your every word is pure. You are trustworthy. All who put their trust in You are safe. We exalt You in our praises for You alone are worthy of all honor and adoration. Be glorified in and through the Church. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Worship Through Songs

Scripture Reading

Read aloud (together if applicable).

R-45 LOVE FOR GOD 愛咱的上帝

Romans 5:8; 1 John 4:8-10; 3:1a; 4:11-12, 18-19 (NKJV)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!...

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

...If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

Song of Response

Worship Through Prayer

  1. Lord, help me to be careful with my words for they can hurt or heal people. Purify my heart for out of it flows the words that could either bless or curse others. Let me speak only words of life. Let every word of my mouth be pleasing and acceptable to You always.

  2. Father, let me speak truth at all times for I am Your child. You do not lie and so should I. Help me for I am weak and still prone to lie. Let me strive to be truthful. When I fail, help me repent and make things right. Give me courage to admit my lie and speak truth regardless of the consequence that I must face. Please help me.

  3. Lord, let me consider carefully what to say and when to say them if necessary. Give me courage to speak truth graciously. Let no foolish talk nor careless words spout out from my mouth. Please help me break my bad habit of coarse joking and improper conversations that dishonors You. Purify my lips to bless You always.
